MALAYSIAN HEALTHCARE TRAVEL COUNCIL EXPLORES UKRAINIAN MARKET

At the recommendation of the Embassy of Malaysia in Ukraine, a delegation from the Malaysian Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) led by Dr. Mary Wong Lai Lin, Chief Executive Officer, visited Ukraine from 14 to 21 April 2013 to participate in the biggest Ukrainian exhibition on medical tourism. It was the first time for MHTC to explore the Ukrainian medical tourism market with the aim to promote Malaysia as the preferred medical tourism destination.

Besides showcasing Malaysia healthcare services at the Expo, MHTC also partook in the conference “New Opportunities in Medical Tourism” and held several business meetings with leading Ukrainian hospitals and major tourist operators to collaborate as well as to network the business contacts.
