On 2 July 2020, H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine met with Mr Ivan Bozhkov, representative from Motor Sich JSC. The company which was founded in 1907 is one of the biggest engine manufacturers for airplanes and helicopters in the world. Motor Sich which is based in Zaporizhzhya is the only enterprise in Ukraine manufacturing engines for airplanes and helicopters as well as industrial gas turbine installations. Aircrafts powered by Motor Sich engines are operating in more than 100 countries worldwide. Present also during the discussion were two Members of Parliament (MPs) of Verkhovna Rada, Mr Vadym Halaichuk and Mr Artem Yuriyovych. Motor Sich is exploring the possibility of penetrating the Malaysian market.
