On 16 July 2021, the Charge d'Affaires a.i. attended the MH17 Lunch hosted by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine H.E. Jennes de Mol. The lunch gathered the Joint Investigation Team countries who were represented by Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Yevheniy Yenin, Ambassador of Belgium to Ukraine H.E. Alex Lenaerts and the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Australia in Ukraine Mr. Robert Curtis.
