Round Table Meeting With Junior Chamber International Ukraine

On Tuesday, January 31, 2012 the Junior Chamber International Ukraine (JCI Ukraine) invited H.E.Mr.Chuah Teong Ban, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine as a guest speaker to a round table discussion devoted to the bilateral relations between Malaysia and Ukraine. The meeting was held in the National University “Kyiv Mohyla Academy”, a prestigious university in Ukraine and one of the oldest in Europe.

In his remarks, Ambassador Chuah gave the 25 young members of JCI Ukraine an overview profile of Malaysia, discussed the state of bilateral relations, future challenges and prospects in the wake of the 20^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Ukraine this year. The round table meeting also had a lively discussions and extensive exchange of views on the social-cultural practices of Malaysia and Ukraine, particularly their similarities and differences.
