On 3 February 2021, H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine was invited to visit Ukrainian Helicopters at its Headquarters in Kyiv. During the visit, H.E. Raja Dato’ met with Mr. Volodymyr Tkachenko the Chairman of the company. A briefing was also held on the overview of the company’s history and its operations as the United Nations’ first-helicopter-responder in conflicting areas namely in Mali, Somalia, Sudan and Djibouti. H.E. Raja Dato was also invited to experience being in the 'Transformer', the Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter by using VR. Ukrainian Helicopters wishes to explore possible collaboration with Malaysian companies and government agencies involved in the aviation sector.
