INTRODUCTION OF NEW SYSTEM FOR ENTRY INTO MALAYSIA BEGINNING

The Department of Immigration Malaysia has announced that beginning 8 October 2020, applications for entry and exit permits by Malaysians and foreigners can now be submitted online through the MyTravelPass (MTP) system. The MTP system can be accessed through the link https://mtp.imi.gov.my//myTravelPass/main .
Complete applications (with supporting documents) will be processed within five (5) working days. Applicants will be notified via email whether the application has been approved or otherwise. Successful applicants will still be required to submit a Letter of Undertaking and Indemnity (LOU) and the issuance of Travel Notices by Malaysian missions abroad is still applicable.
