The Malaysian Islamic Foundation of North America (MIFNA) organized the Qurban and Hari Raya Haji Get Together on Saturday, 3 November 2012 at the residence of Mr. Aziman Zainuddin and Mrs. Rohana Razali in Arcadia, California. Both Mr. Aziman and wife are members of MIFNA and are also the Consulate General of Malaysia Los Angeles locally recruited staff. This year MIFNA slaughtered three cows and one goat for the qurban which was done earlier at the beginning of Aidil Adha celebration. The celebration on 3 November 2012 was to distribute the qurban meat and part of it was cooked and served to all the attended guests. Consul General of Malaysia in Los Angeles Mr. Nekmat Ismail and all Malaysian Consulate family members had also attended the event. It was indeed a joyous occasion filled with the spirit of “gotong-royong” in preparing the food and distributing the qurban meat.
