On 11 March 2023, His Excellency Appointed Ambassador Dato' Seri Nazri Aziz paid a Courtesy Call on H.E. Ambassador Roslan Roeslani of the Republic of Indonesia to the U.S. They discussed the strong collaboration among ASEAN Ambassadors in the U.S. and expressed their commitment to working together in strengthening the ASEAN-U.S. cooperation.
Bilaterally, Malaysia and Indonesia enjoy warm relations with a frequent exchange of high level visits. Both Embassies in Washington D.C. share an excellent working relations. More than the diplomatic ties, people of both countries also share historic links and common serumpun (cognate) values.
