On 13 May 2025, the Embassy of Malaysia in Washington, D.C. in collaboration with “The Embassy Series” co-hosted the Embassy Concert Series.
The evening featured a captivating performance by Kerson Leong, a violinist of Malaysian roots, acclaimed for his virtuosity and emotive interpretations and Daniel Weiser, a pianist renowned for his expressive artistry and dynamic stage presence. Together, they presented a captivating performance of traditional and Malaysian classic pieces.
Chargé d’affaires a.i. Syed Farizal Aminy Syed Mohamad, in his remarks, underscored the importance of cultural diplomacy in strengthening people-to-people connection between Malaysia and the U.S.
The concert was followed by a reception, where guests were served with a buffet of Malaysian delicacies, part of the Embassy’s gastronomic diplomacy efforts.
