17092025 His Excellency Ilham Tuah Illias, Ambassador of Malaysia attended the Opening Ceremony of the 20th International Shariah Scholars Forum (ISSF 2025). The forum serves as a prominent international platform that brings together distinguished scholars, practitioners, and experts to deliberate on contemporary issues in Islamic finance and Shariah law. The participation of His Excellency underscored Malaysia’s continued commitment to advancing global discourse on Islamic finance and strengthening collaboration with the international scholarly community. Among the distinguished speakers and panelists were Professor Dr. Engku Rabiah Adawiah, a leading Shariah scholar at the International Islamic Finance and Banking Institute (IIiBF), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), and Deputy Chair of the Shariah Advisory Councils of both Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC); Dr. Marjan Muhammad, Deputy President of Research at the ISRA Institute, INCEIF University; Mr. Jumadi Kadir, Group Chief Shariah Officer at SME Bank; and Mr. Madzlan Hussain, Senior Partner at CSQ Law and Member of the Senate of INCEIF University.
