13 May 2025 - Ms. Fatin Adiba Mohamad Prim Nasir, the Vice Consul of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Xi’an, along with other foreign consular officers, visited the International Medical Port at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Medical University. This event was organized by the Shaanxi Foreign Affairs Office with a clear purpose: to strengthen medical service support for consular officers and their staff.
During the visit, the consular officers had the opportunity to tour the facilities, where they were introduced to a variety of medical services available to expatriates. They learned about outpatient services, which are essential for individuals requiring routine medical attention, as well as green channel services that facilitate quicker access to healthcare for urgent cases. The insights gained during this visit are expected to enhance the support that consulates can provide to their citizens abroad, ensuring that they are well-informed about the healthcare resources available in Xi’an. Overall, the initiative aimed to foster collaboration and improve communication between foreign consulates and local healthcare providers, promoting a better understanding of the healthcare system in the region.
