Registration of Death
The death of Malaysian citizen abroad must be reported at the Embassy. The Embassy will then contact the deceased relatives with regard to the arrangement for repatriation or burial of the deceased.
Documents to be submitted to the Embassy:-
- Police report with English translation (original and 2 photocopies)
- Original passport of the deceased
- Original Birth Certificate/Identity Card of the deceased
- Copy of the Death Certificate
- Copy of the Embalming Certificate
