The ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) is a cooperative regional effort to promote ASEAN as one tourist destination. This annual event involves all tourism industry sectors of the 10 member states of ASEAN: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
This year, the ATF was hosted by Vietnam in Ha Long City. YB Datuk Mohammadin Ketapi, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia attended the event from 16 – 18 January 2019. HE Dato’ Ambassador and representatives from Tourism Malaysia office in Ho Chi Minh City also accompanied the minister to the ATF.
Three main official meetings were conducted during ATF 2019 namely ASEAN National Tourism Organisation (NTO) Meetings, ASEAN Tourism Ministers Meetings and Association Meetings.
