The Embassy of Malaysia in Hanoi together with the MTCP Alumni organized a charity visit to the Tien Cau Hope Orphanage Centre on 14 July 2018. The event was co-organised with the Malaysia Club to attract more support and also to enable Malaysians in Hanoi to participate in the noble effort.
The Embassy managed to collect and donate two (2) large rice cookers, ten (10) standing fans, 1100kgs of rice, various household items including milk, sugar and flour and school shirts as well as stationeries.
The children were also treated with Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), chicken burgers, french fries and some home cooked food brought by Perwakilan ladies. The children enjoyed the KFC, especially the burger as some were having it for the very first time. Colouring competition and games were organized for the kids.
