COVID-19 TEST SERVICE AND QUARANTINE PAYMENT VIA MySafeTravel OR MYQr BY MYEG APPLICATION
The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) in collaboration with Syarikat MyEg Services Berhad has created an online payment receipt via MySafeTravel System or MyQr Application by MyEG in order to diversify the payment methods of COVID-19 detection test and quarantine for all individuals entering Malaysia.
2. Beginning 15 November 2020, foreigners that are allowed to enter Malaysia are required to make payment online before leaving for Malaysia through the system. Meanwhile, Malaysian citizens who will return home are encouraged to use the application for the payment of COVID-19 detection test charges and quarantine costs. All proof of payments must be submitted at the counter upon arrival at the international point of arrival, prior COVID-19 detection test and quarantine placement.
3. The online payment method was introduced with the objective to reduce congestion at the point of arrival as well as to facilitate the payment process.
