Ambassador-designate of Malaysia to Vietnam, His Excellency Dato’ Tan Yang Thai, presented the Letter of Credence to the Chief of Protocol, MOFA Vietnam, His Excellency Nguyen Viet Dung, earlier today.
During the call, both sides exchanged views on ways forward to strengthen Malaysia-Vietnam bilateral relations, especially since this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Malaysia's Ambassador-designate stated his commitment to expanding cooperation with Vietnam in all areas, for the mutual benefit of both countries.
