Ambassador Zamruni Khalid officiated the Health Awareness Day organised by Hong Leong Bank Vietnam (HLBVN) and Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) on 19 August 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City. More than 100 people attended the event. Programme included talks on cardiovascular and colon diseases. Vietnam recorded 86% increment in its citizens undergoing treatments and health tourism in Malaysia for 2016. This event also marked the launch of a special programme by HLBVN and MHTC for Vietnamese to seek healthcare in Malaysia at discounted prices with attractive rates. Free medical check-up, lunch and raffles were offered after the event.
