Perwakilan Hanoi and all HBS from Malawakil Hanoi participated in the annual International Food Festival 2018 organised by Service Department for Diplomatic Corps, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vietnam. The event took place at the Van Phuc Diplomatic Compound and Malaysia was allotted a booth with other ASEAN countries.
he objective of the event is to promote diversity and friendship among different cultures and nations. At the same time, the event gave Malaysia the opportunity to show uniqueness of our multiracial culture and various mouth-watering delicacies. Perwakilan ladies sold nasi lemak, cucur, karipap, teh tarik and etc. Almost 1000 people visited our booth and tried our food.
All collection made from selling the food items were donated to charitable funds in Hanoi.
