REQUIREMENT OF COVID-19 PCR TEST OR SWAB TEST FOR MALAYSIAN NATIONALS AND FOREIGNERS ENTERING MALAYSIA
1. Referring to the announcement made by Senior Minister of Defense on 14 July 2020, please be informed that all Malaysians that wishes to return to Malaysia from overseas must undergo a COVID-19 PCR test or Swab test (3 days before departure to Malaysia).
2. This requirement is also compulsory for the following categories:
- Permanent Resident;
- Diplomats / official passport holders and dependents;
- Long Term Visa holders (husband/wife/children) to the Malaysian citizen;
3. The above procedure is to avoid unnecessary difficulties when boarding the aircraft in host countries. The COVID-19 test upon arrival at all gates will still be conducted by the Malaysian authorities despite initial COVID-19 tests at the host countries.

Details:
- Undergo PCR or Swab Test screening (3 days before departure) with confirmed negative results
- Download MySejahtera online applications and complete all necessary information
- Undergo a 14-days self-quarantine by following guidelines from NADMA and MOH
- Undergo the COVID-19 screening at the entry point upon arrival
- Valid visa is required for countries that require visa to enter Malaysia
- Malaysians and foreigners who exit during MCO are not allowed to return without approval from the DG of Immigration
