H.E. Dato’ Mohd Zamruni Khalid visited CMC Telecom Vietnam, Hanoi on Thursday, 26 July 2018 accompanied by Mr. Davidson Dee Ladi, Minister Counsellor (Economic) and Ms. Nurul Alia Razani, First Secretary (Economic) of the Embassy. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Chris Wilson, CEO-ASEAN of TIME dotCom Berhad, Mr. Azhar Adnan, Chief Marketing Officer and Mr. Azhar Rahmat, Chief Technology Officer of CMC Telecom Vietnam.
Founded on 5 September 2008, CMC Telecom Vietnam is a member of CMC Group, holding 54.63% of the equity while Time dotcom holds 45.27% with total investment of RM100 million. Towards integrated IT services into telecommunications, CMC Telecom provides customers with diversified products and services with high added value in the One-Stop-Shop model. Apart from its office in Hanoi, CMC Telecom also opened two branches in Ho Chi Minh City and Danang.
This visit is part of the programme organised by the Economic Section of the Embassy. The aim of this visit is for the Embassy to understand better on the operation of Malaysian companies established in Vietnam. The visit started with the briefing by Mr. Azhar Adnan and followed by a tour to their data centres.
