On 14 April 2017, Ambassador of Malaysia together with the Defence Attache and delegation from MINDEF visited the Military Science Academy of Vietnam at Lai Xa, Kim Chung, Hoai Duc Hanoi. The delegation was welcomed by Major General Quan Van Trung, Political Commissar Military Science of Academy and was given briefings and tour of the Academy. The delegation also met with three Malaysian military officials who are learning the Vietnamese language at the Academy.
