The Deputy Chief Minister of Sarawak, YB Datuk Amar Awang Tengah bin Ali Hassan made a working visit to Vietnam from 1 to 4 August 2018. The main purpose of the visit is to explore opportunities to collaborate on research and development (R&D) on acacia plantation and furniture production.
During this visit, The Sarawakian delegation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Sarawak Forestry Corporation Sdn. Bhd. and the Vietnam Academy of Forest Science. This event was witnessed by the Deputy Chief Minister as well as His Excellency Dato’ Zamruni Khalid.
