Pertemuan tersebut memberikan peluang kepada kedua-dua Pemimpin untuk menilai dan mengiktiraf pengukuhan hubungan Malaysia-Vietnam, khususnya di bawah rangka Perkongsian Strategik Menyeluruh (CSP), serta meneroka pelbagai peluang yang ditawarkan walaupun berdepan cabaran global semasa.
Kedua-dua Pemimpin menyatakan komitmen untuk mempergiat perbincangan mengenai inisiatif utama, termasuk kerjasama berimpak tinggi dengan Petronas serta perkongsian dalam industri halal, teknologi digital, kecerdasan buatan (AI), dan pusat data. Kedua-duanya turut bersetuju mengenai langkah kukuh untuk memantapkan CSP, dengan keyakinan yang sama terhadap kepentingannya bukan sahaja untuk kepentingan dua hala tetapi juga untuk kestabilan serantau dan global.
Kedua-dua Pemimpin turut menekankan kepentingan pertukaran peringkat tinggi, perkongsian maklumat, dan mengekalkan pendirian bersatu dalam forum antarabangsa seperti ASEAN dan Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (PBB). Mereka menggariskan keperluan pendekatan diplomatik yang bersepadu dan penglibatan strategik dengan kuasa-kuasa besar, dengan matlamat bersama untuk mencapai perkembangan ekonomi yang mampan di rantau ini.

Before departing Hanoi following the Keynote Address at the ASEAN Future Forum 2025, The Right Honourable Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim paid a courtesy call on the President of Socialist Repbulic of Vietnam, H.E. Luong Cuong.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to review and recognise the strength of Malaysia-Vietnam relations, particularly under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP), and to explore the wealth of opportunities it offers despite ongoing global challenges.
Both Leaders expressed their commitment to advancing discussions on key initiatives, including high-impact collaborations with Petronas and partnerships in the halal industry, digital technology, artificial intelligence, and data centres. They also agreed on concrete steps to solidify the CSP, with the same belief of its significance not only for bilateral interests but also for regional and global stability.
The two Leaders emphasised the importance of high-level exchanges, information sharing, and maintaining a united stance in international forums such as ASEAN and the United Nations. They highlighted the need for cohesive diplomatic approaches and strategic engagements with major powers, all with a shared goal of achieving sustainable economic growth in the region.
