The High Commission of Malaysia in Pretoria, Republic of South Africa hosted the Hari Raya Aidil Adha celebration on 28 May 2026 in a warm and festive atmosphere that reflected the spirit of togetherness and community.
The programme began with Aidil Adha prayers and khutbah led by Malaysian students in Pretoria. Festive dishes for the celebration were contributed through a potluck arrangement organised by Perwakilan Pretoria. The celebration was attended by Malaysians in Pretoria, including officials of the High Commission of Malaysia, Malaysian students, families, as well as members of the local community who joined in the festivities.
In conjunction with the celebration, Malaysian students also participated in the ibadah korban programme held during Aidil Adha this year. May this celebration continue to strengthen the bonds of friendship, unity and togetherness among the Malaysian community in South Africa.
