The first Bazar Ramadan for 2009/1430H was held at the Residence of the Consul General of Malaysia in Barsha 2, Dubai. The bazar is a continuation from similar event held last year which attracted patronisation from a signficant number of Malaysians in Dubai and the surrounding Emirates.
This year's bazar kicked start on 21 August 2009 and was attended by around 200 Malaysians. The event was held with the cooperation of PERWAKILAN (Ladies Association of the Consulate General of Malaysia), MYUAE (Malaysian Association UAE) and Consulate General of Malaysia.
About 15 operators among the Malaysian community here including PERWAKILAN members participated in selling traditional Malaysian dishes like Ayam Percik, Nasi Kerabu, Laksam, Nasi Lemak, Cendol, Rendang etc.
The next bazar would be held on every Friday until 11 September 2009 from 4 - 6 p.m.
