NABIL JEFRI COMPLETED THE GP3 POST SEASON TESTING IN UAE
The future Malaysian F1 driver, Nabil Jefri, participated at the GP3 Post Season Testing in Yas Marina Circuit. He completed the tests with the Team & Driver Champion ART GP and the KOIRANEN GP from 2 – 4 December 2015.
Nabil started his career with go-kart at the age of 8 and at the age of 10, he won the Asian Championship in cadet category. He was the youngest to join World Rotax Championship at the age of 12 in 2005 when he finished 14th from 47 drivers of 41 countries. His ability in racing is well known in Asia when he's unbeatable in 2008 & 2009. Nabil's peak in karting was in 2009 when he finished 6th out of 72 drivers from 60 countries in the World Rotax Championship in Sharm El Sheikh.
Nabil joined Air Asia Junior Development program in Formula BMW Asia when he finished 5th Overall in his maiden year. He is also the World Youngest F1 Test Driver when he did Aero Test in Duxford UK, September 2010. Nabil finished 2nd Overall in 2012 JK Racing Asia Series (formerly known as Formula BMW Asia).
Nabil continued his career in Europe in 2013, under the flagship of PETRONAS Talent Development Program and race in German F3 where he finished as 1st Runner Up in 2014 after winning 2 races and 16 podium finishes. This year Nabil competing in FIA F3 European Championship to be familiar with the European F1 circuit and planning to race in GP3 in 2016 Season.
