HE Dato Mohd Ashri together with ASEAN and Asia Pacific Ambassadors met the Governor of Corrientes, Ricardo Colombi on a 3 days visit to the northern state. Corrientes is a agriculutral state with lots of produce. Bordering the state to the west and east are Paraguay and Uruguay.
Its main economy are citrus, tobacco, rice, tea and yerba matte. The state also famous for its pine timber and bovine cattle breed Brangus, with estimated around 4 million through out the state.
The visit also coincide with Carnivale Festival in the main capital Corrientes.
