TRADE, BUSINESS AND TOURISM SEMINAR & LAUNCH OF VISIT MALAYSIA YEAR 2026, 2 JULY 2025
The Embassy of Malaysia in Baku is pleased to announce the successful hosting of the Trade, Business and Tourism Seminar themed: “Enhancing Malaysia-Azerbaijan Relations Through Economic & Tourism Collaboration”, held on 2 July 2025 (Wednesday) at the Hilton Baku.
The seminar served as a strategic platform to strengthen bilateral ties between Malaysia and Azerbaijan, focusing on expanding cooperation in trade, business, and tourism sectors. The event brought together over 120 participants, including key stakeholders from local tour operating agencies, airline representatives, business communities, and potential investors from both countries.
A major highlight of the event was the official launch of Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (VMY2026) in Azerbaijan. The launching ceremony marked a significant milestone in Malaysia’s tourism outreach efforts in the region, aiming to promote Malaysia as a preferred travel destination known for its diverse culture, vibrant cities, pristine nature, and world-renowned cuisine.
The Embassy extends its sincere appreciation to all participants and partners who contributed to the success of the seminar and looks forward to continued collaboration in advancing Malaysia-Azerbaijan relations through meaningful and mutually beneficial economic and tourism initiatives.
