VISA FOR MALAYSIANS ENTERING AZERBAIJAN

 

Visa is required for Malaysians to enter Azerbaijan. It can be applied through ‘Visa on Arrival’ or advisably via an online platform (e-Visa) at https://www.evisa.gov.az/en/

 

The visa process is divided into three categories as mentioned below.

 

  • Standard Visa: Standard visa processing time generally takes three (3) - five (5) working days. The fee for standard visa processing is USD25.00. This facility only available at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Kuala Lumpur. The visa is valid for 90 days, but each stay must not exceed 30 days at a time.

 

  • Urgent Visa: The processing time for this visa is 3 - 5 hours. The total fee for urgent visa processing is USD60.00. This facility only available at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Kuala Lumpur. The visa is valid for 90 days, but each stay must not exceed 30 days at a time.

 

  • Visa on Arrival: Citizens of Malaysia have the opportunity to obtain single entry visa (up to 30 days) in all international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan upon arrival. Visa fee is USD30.00 (Visa Kiosk is widely available and located before the Immigration Hall.

Important Notice: Please note that all travellers over 18 years old are required to possess an official certificate of COVID-19 vaccination. VISA FOR MALAYSIANS ENTERING GEORGIA 

 

According to the Ordinance №255 approved by the government of Georgia, Malaysians may enter and stay in Georgia without a visa for 365 days.

 

MANDATORY HEALTH INSURANCE REQUIREMENT FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS ENTERING GEORGIA (EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2026)

 

Starting 1 January 2026, all foreign nationals entering Georgia will be required to have valid medical insurance that covers the entire duration of their stay in the country.

 

This requirement applies to all foreign visitors traveling to Georgia for tourism, business, or transit purposes.

 

According to established regulations, foreign nationals must possess a medical and accident insurance policy that is valid for their entire stay, from the date of entry until the date of departure. The minimum coverage amount must be GEL30,000 (approximately USD 11,200.00).

 

The insurance can be provided by either Georgian or foreign insurance companies. The policy may be presented in electronic or paper format and must be issued in either Georgian or English.

 

The insurance policy must include the following essential information:

 

  • Parties involved in the insurance contract
  • Covered territory
  • Subject matter of the insurance
  • Start and end dates of the insurance coverage
  • Insured risks
  • Coverage amount (limits)
  • Insurance premium amount
  • Payment terms and location

 

This new requirement is being implemented in accordance with Georgia’s Law on Tourism. The Government of Georgia's Resolution titled "On Approval of the Rules and Conditions for Mandatory Health and Accident Insurance for Tourists Entering Georgia" will go into effect on 1 January 2026.
