On 30 January 2013, ASEAN Heads of Mission/Ambassadors to the EU based in Brussels attended the first ASEAN Brussels Committee (ABC) Meeting under the Chairmanship of Malaysia. The ABC Chairmanship is rotated alphabetically for a period of six months.
From January - June 2014 Malaysia has assumed the ABC Chairmanship and the ABC Meeting was chaired by H.E. Ambassador Dato' Zainuddin Yahya to discuss on political, economic and trade issues concerning ASEAN-EU relation.
