Passport Renewal

PASSPORT RENEWALS AND NEW APPLICATIONS

Malaysians residing in Belgium or Luxembourg may apply for passport renewals or new passports through the Embassy. Applications must be made in person at the Consular Section of the Embassy from 09:30 – 12:00, Monday to Friday.

Important Notes:

  • Passport renewals are by appointment only. Appointments can be requested by clicking the blue button at the bottom right of this page.
  • Processing time for new passport applications is approximately six to eight weeks, excluding Customs clearance, which may add an additional two weeks. Applicants are advised to apply well in advance (e.g., at least three months before expiry).
  • Passports are issued by the Immigration Department at the High Commission of Malaysia in London and sent to the Embassy via registered mail.
  • Payment must be made via electronic bank transfer. Cash and debit/credit card payments are not accepted. Bank transfer details will be provided by email upon application.

  3. Birth Registration Certificate (Borang H and local)

  7. Malaysian Marriage Registration Certificate of Parents

CHILDREN BELOW 18

Passport Fees & Payment Method

  • RM200.00 (5 years validity)
  • RM100.00 (Special rate for children below 12 and senior citizens (Age 60 and above))

Payment must be made in Euro (€) via electronic bank transfer. The exact amount in Euro (€) is based on the Embassy’s monthly exchange rate and will be provided by email upon application.

Bank transfer details, including the Embassy’s account number and payment reference, will be communicated by email.
