Courtesy Call By Tan Sri Rastam Mohd Isa, Secretary General of the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia on H.E. Javier Solana, High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, Secretary General of the Council of the EU
On 5 February 2009, Tan Sri Rastam Mohd Isa, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia made a courtesy call on HE Javier Solana at his Office in Belgium. The courtesy call was part of the programme for the Working Visit of Tan Sri Rastam to Brussels from 4-7 February 2009. Earlier that day, Tan Sri Rastam led the Malaysian Delegation for the 2nd Malaysia-European Commission Senior Officials' Meeting at the EU Headquarters.
The Courtesy call has provided the opportunity for both sides to renew professional as well as personal ties. During the call, Tan Sri Rastam was accompanied by HE Dato' Hussein Haniff, Ambassador of Malaysia to Belgium.
