On 20 July 2011, the Embassy of Malaysia and PERWAKILAN co-hosted a farewell lunch for Ms. Jamaliah Hussin, First Secretary (Customs), Mr. Adnan Aboo Bakar, Second Secretary (Admin/Consular) and wife, Pn. Nurul Huda Ab. Hamid and family as they will end their tour of duty on 24 July and 5 August 2011, respectively. Ms. Jamaliah had served the Mission for 3 years and 1 month and Mr. Adnan, 3 years and 8 months.
The co-hosts also seized the opportunity of the event to congratulate the newlyweds, Mr. Nor Azli Azri, Secretary to Deputy Chief of Mission and wife, Mrs. Siti Suhana Suid who were solemnized on 10 July 2011 back in Malaysia. Furthermore, the gathering celebrated the birthday of three colleagues, namely Mr. Adnan Aboo Bakar, Ms. Rosnah Mohammad Watt and Mr. Budhiman Hamzah whose birthdays.
