On the first Sunday (25 September 2011) after their arrival in Belgium, H.E. Dato' Zainuddin Yahya and Datin Fairos Ishak hosted a Hari Raya, National Day and Malaysia Day Reception at the Embassy of Malaysia in Brussels.
Around one hundred Malaysian citizens residing in Belgium attended the reception. The guests were served with our typical Hari Raya spread; nasi himpit, rendang, kuah kacang, sate ayam, nasi tomato, kuah lodeh, jelatah acar timun and sambal.
The event was also to introduce our newly arrived Ambassador and wife to the Malaysian community in Belgium.
