The ASEAN Brussels Committee (ABC), under the Malaysian chairmanship (January - June 2014), undertook a working visit to the European Parliament (EP) in Strasbourg, France on 16 April 2014. The visit providedan avenue for the ASEAN Ambassadors to meet and have an exchange of views on ASEAN-EU relations and other issues of common interest with Members of theEuropean Parliament (MEPs) responsible for EU-ASEAN/Southeast Asiarelations.
The ABC Ambassadors had a meeting with the EP Delegation For Relations WithASEAN/Southeast Asia (DASE). DASE consists of 22 permanent members and 19 alternate members.
