H.E. Dato' Zainuddin Yahya, Ambassador of Malaysia to Belgium was invited to the Travel Magazine Award 2011, organized by Travel Magazine, on 18 November 2011 at the Hilton Antwerp Hotel. He was accompanied by Mr. Rosman Ahmad, Director of Tourism Malaysia (TM) The Hague, Mr. Edwin J. Peters, Marketing Manager of Malaysia Airlines (Amsterdam), Mr. Emmanuel De Smeth, Sales Executive (Belgium and Luxembourg) of Malaysia Airlines, and officials of the Embassy of Malaysia in Belgium and in The Netherlands.
The Travel Magazine is the leading trade and tourism journal for the Belgian and Luxembourg market. This year, the event was attended by approximately 700 representatives from the tourism industry (tour operators, hotels, airlines, travel agents, airport authorities, transport companies and national travel organisations).
At the event, H.E. Ambassador presented the Sustainable Tourism Organisation 2011 Award to Jetair, which is one of the leading low cost carriers in Europe that also offers holiday packages.
