On 19 March 2009, His Excellency Dato' Hussein Haniff had a meeting with Mr. Pierre Gramegna, Director General of the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg. His Excellency Ambassador was accompanied by two other officials from the Embassy, namely Minister Counsellor (Trade Affairs) and Second Secretary (Political) for the ceremony.
The meeting was followed by lunch hosted by Mr.Jean-Claude VESQUE, Head of International Trade, International Department, Chamber of Commerce of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg. Also presence during the lunch were Mr. Christian Theis, Attaché International Department and Mr. Jeannot Erpelding, Strategy & Alliances, Cargolux Airlines International S.A.
At the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg, H.E. Ambassador had discussion with regard to possible bilateral activities that could be undertaken between Malaysia and Luxembourg. The discussion also touched on the seminar on Doing Business in Malaysia that will be held in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg with MITI, MIDA and MATRADE in Luxembourg in May 2009.
