ATTESTATION / WITNESSING AND NOTARIAL SERVICE

Documents originating from Malaysia such as Statutory Declarations, Sales and Purchase Agreement, Power of Attorney, etc. requires attestation by the Consular Division of the Embassy.

Documents needed for authentication are:

·         Passport and photocopy

·         Document issued by Malaysian authorities and photocopy of one of the document

·        * *BD 1.900 per document (MYR20.00)

 

CERTIFICATION

a)    Certification of Malaysian documents such Birth Certificates, School Certificates

b)    **BD 1.900 per document (MYR20.00)

 

LEGALISATION OF DOCUMENTS

Documents issued by the local authorities in Kingdom of Bahrain such as (no impediment to marriage letter, marriage and birth certificate etc), or any documents are to be authenticated/legalized by:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain

The duly endorsed document must be legalized by the Consular Official at the Embassy of Malaysia, Manama before its usage in Malaysia

 

REPORT OF LOST MALAYSIAN IDENTITY CARD AND MALAYSIAN DRIVING LICENCE

1.    Report the loss to the nearest police station. (Please obtain evidence of report)

2.    File a report at the Consular Office Embassy of Malaysia by submitting the following:

·         A copy of the police report

·         A valid passport or other documents that can be used as proof of citizenship (if your passport is lost while abroad)

·         Personal letter confirming the loss
