USM AND UKM PARTICIPATION AT THE HUMAN RIGHTS CONFERENCE,
SARAJEVO, 20 ? 25 JULY 2008
A 9-member student delegation form Universiti Sains Malaysia was in Sarajevo from 20 ? 25 July 2008 to participate in the Human Rights Conference organized by the University of Sarajevo.
The students were accompanied by Mrs. Norpisah Mat Isa, Deputy Registrar of USM and Mr. Azmi Hassan, Principal Assistant Registrar, Counselling Unit.
Two students from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia also participated in the Conference, accompanied by Associate Prof Dr. Khaidzir Hj. Ismail, Deputy Director, Centre for Students Advancement.
The Ambassador of Malaysia hosted lunch for the delegation at the Residence on 27 July 2008. The Ambassador took the opportunity to discuss collaboration between universities in Malaysia with universities in BH. The proposals were well received, and follow up visits would take place in due course.

Deveto?lana delegacija studenata sa Univerziteta znanosti Malezije (USM) boravila je u Sarajevu od 20-25 jula 2008 i u?estvovala na Konferenciji o ljudskim pravima u organizaciji Univerziteta Sarajevo .
U pratnji studentima bila je i gdja. Norpisah Mat Isa, zamjenica Registra na USM-a i g. Azmi Hassan, glavni asisistent Registra, odjel za konsultuvanje.
Dva studenta sa Nacionalnog Univerziteta Malezije tako?er su u?estvovali u Konferenciji u pratnji Prof. Dr. Khaidzir Hj. Ismail , zamjenika direktora Centra za studentaska unapre?enja.
Ambasador Malezije uprili?io je ru?ak za delegaciju u svojoj rezidenciji 27 jula 2008.godine. Tom prilikom ambasador je predlo?io da se radi na saradnji izme?u univerziteta u Maleziji i BiH. Prijedlog je dobro prihva?en tako da se planiraju nove posjete.
