On 16 June 2025, the High Commissioner of Malaysia HE Datuk Mohd Aini Atan in his capacity as the Patron of Persatuan Warganegara Malaysia (PWM) attended a blood donation drive, jointly organised by PWM, Radisson Hotel and Blood Donation Centre of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital.
The blood drive, held in conjunction with the Blood Donor Day managed to collect 127 pints of blood. The blood donated will be utilised by RIPAS Hospital as part of its critical resources for medical treatments, surgeries, and emergencies.
HE Datuk Mohd Aini expressed the High Commission of Malaysia’s support towards PWM’s active community service efforts through the blood donation drive which further enhances the profile of Malaysian community in the sultanate.
HE Datuk Mohd Aini further underscored that the blood donation drive reflects the attentiveness of Malaysian diaspora towards the local community’s health and well-being, which also symbolises harmonious living among the diverse communities in Brunei Darussalam.
