On 20 May 2025, HE Datuk Mohd Aini Atan, High Commissioner of Malaysia received a courtesy call from the CEO of Brunei Engineering, Logistics and Training Solutions (BELTS), Mr Noh Madali at the former’s office.
During the call, the CEO of BELTS apprised HE Datuk Mohd Aini of BELTS’ role and functions as a Bruneian Government Linked Company, in supporting defence and security agencies to achieve and maintain their capabilities through effective and efficient procurement, project and supply chain management.
HE Datuk Mohd Aini took the opportunity to highlight prominent Malaysian defence industry players as well as their innovative products and services that command solid reputation in the international defence arena.
The High Commissioner of Malaysia further underscored that the Malaysian defence industry players stand ready to explore potential collaboration with BELTS and the Defence Ministry of Brunei Darussalam, with a view to formalise strategic partnerships that would be mutually beneficial for the defence sectors in both nations.
