On 5 February 2024, H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam received a courtesy call from the delegation of Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB), Johor led by its Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Mr Haris Hardi Zakaria. IIB plays a critical role as the strategic developer of catalytic projects to spur the long-term development of Iskandar Malaysia.
During the call, the CIO of IIB apprised the Malaysian High Commissioner of IIB’s strategic outlook on innovative investment, as well as the prospect of potential investment cooperation between the IIB and Brunei.
H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza conveyed the High Commission’s full support towards IIB’s approach to explore a world of investment opportunities and positioning Malaysia with emphasis in Johor as the preferred investment destination for potential investors from around the world including Brunei Darussalam.
