On 5 February 2024, the High Commission of Malaysia futsal team led by its High Commissioner, H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah hosted a friendly futsal game with the Celebrity Football Fun Match (CFFM) Brunei team at its futsal court at the High Commission of Malaysia.
The CFFM’s team comprised of Bruneian actors, influencers, deejays and former national team players.
The futsal game serves as an avenue and part of the High Commission’s proactive sports diplomacy initiative to engage and reach out the local communities in Brunei Darussalam.
The friendly futsal match was also a warm-up game for CFFM’s team who are preparing for the football match against the Malaysian Celebrities team to be held on 2 March 2024 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium.
