On 30 April 2025, the High Commission of Malaysia in collaboration with Hans Advisory and Azmi & Associates organised a High Impact Briefing titled “Structuring International Business: Leveraging Labuan & Malaysia as a Syariah-Compliant Wealth & Business Hub in ASEAN” at its Chancery. The briefing was the third series of its kind carried out by Malaysian High Commission together with its strategic partners.
The briefing session elaborates the robust governance and Syariah-compliant solutions that Malaysia has to offer, in particular through Labuan International Business and Financial Centre (Labuan IBFC). The talk was well attended by more than 30 individuals from various sectors in the sultanate.
The High Commissioner of Malaysia HE Datuk Mohd Aini Atan in his officiating remarks, underscored that the Malaysian High Commission remains committed in promoting strategic advantages and economic opportunities in Malaysia.
HE Datuk Mohd Aini further emphasised that this commitment is in line with Malaysia’s focus to intensify economic diplomacy with a view to further enhance bilateral trade and economic activities with Brunei Darussalam.
