On 8 November 2023, H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam attended the introductory meeting between Public Service Department (PSD) Malaysia and PSD Brunei at the latter’s office in Bandar Seri Begawan. The meeting discussed potential collaboration in public service sector between both departments.
H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza is pleased with the active collaboration between both public service departments and expressed hope that the two departments would continue working closely together in leading the development of a dynamic public service in Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam.
The Malaysian PSD delegation is currently undertaking a four-day benchmarking visit to Brunei Darussalam from 8 to 11 November 2023 led by its Deputy Director Mr Wan Muzani Wan Idris, with the primary objective to learn best practices, particularly on Brunei’s public service remuneration system.
