CANADIAN TRADE MINISTER ED FAST VISITS MALAYSIA

Canadian Trade Minister Ed Fast undertook a one day visit to Malaysia on 13 February 2012. While in Malaysia, Minister Fast met with the Malaysian Minister of International Trade and Industry Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed; the President and CEO of Petronas Datuk Shamsul Azhar Abbas; and Group President and Chief Executive Officer of Felda Global Ventures Holdings, Dato’ Sabri Ahmad. Their meeting discussions centred on trade and investment between Malaysia and Canada. This is the first Canadian Ministerial-level visit to Malaysia since 2009.
