The High Commission of Malaysia held a dinner for Malaysian students in Ottawa under its Program Mendampingi Rakyat at the residence of the Minister-Counsellor Mr. Mohamed Hatimi Abas on 4 December 2010. The event was attended by some 60 Malaysian students. The High Commission of Malaysia also held a medal ceremony to award the members of the Malaysia Truly Asia Team who were triumphant in the Embassy category in the Ottawa Dragon Boat Race 2010 held in June 2010.
