The Consulate General of Malaysia in Vancouver, in cooperation with the Malaysia-Canada Business Council (Vancouver), organized the Seminar on Trade, Investment and Tourism Opportunities in Malaysia on 25 September 2010 at the Terasen Center.
The Seminar was attended by 30 businessmen from the local Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond areas who were interested to learn more about the topics. Three speakers were invited to update the participants on the issues relating to trade, investment and tourism in Malaysia. They were Mr Hazli Jemat, Consul (Investment), MIDA in LA, Ms Kausar Kassim, Vice President of Tourism Malaysia, Vancouver and Ms Zalela Jaafar, Consul (Trade), Toronto.
The participants expressed their appreciation to the speakers for updating them with the current development on trade, investment and tourism fields relating to Malaysia.
