YBhg. Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, wife of the Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Najib Razak took the opportunity to meet with Malaysian students during a private visit to Toronto on 9 September 2011.
Datin Seri Rosmah met with students at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto. During her exchange with the students, Datin Seri Rosmah reminded the students to concentrate on their studies. She advised them not to listen to negative stories being reported via electronic media about Malaysia. She also shared with the students her experience as the wife of the Prime Minister of Malaysia and the charitable works that has undertaken.
At the conclusion of the meeting, student representative Mr. Ooi Eu Jin received a contribution from Datin Seri Rosmah on behalf of the Malaysian students in Canada.
High Commissioner of Malaysia to Canada, Her Excellency Dato’ Hayati Ismail and Malaysian Trade Commissioner Ms. Norzihan Mohd Zain were also present at the event.
