Every year, the Consulate General of Malaysia organises a Hari Raya Aidilfitri together with the Malaysian students. However, it was not possible this year due to the province wide pandemic restrictions.
In abiding with the restrictions, the Consulate General organised Aidilfitri packets which were distributed to students within the Vancouver region on 21 May 2021.
They were served a selection of Malaysian food that included nasi hujan panas,ayam masak merah, jelatah, papadom as well as dodol, Malay kueh and local fruits.
